Mr Jake
Mr. Jake started his karate journey at NGMA when he was six years old. As the youngest of three children, his parents were looking for something to keep him busy and active. NGMA has provided that for him as well as a source of discipline, dedication, and development of his Kenpo Karate skills. He was taking classes for almost 6 years until he started to assist the instructors as a helper. In May of 2018, he was promoted to Shodan. His first-degree black belt was his first and his most significant personal accomplishment. Mr. Jake was given the opportunity to become an instructor in 2020. While he taught some of his first classes on Zoom he much prefers seeing the students in person. His many years of martial arts have taught and shown him things that he could never have learned elsewhere.
