Miss Rish began her Karate Journey at 8 years old in 2017. After trying a number of different sports and art forms, Karate was one of the few she was able to stick with. During the difficult times of Covid-19, Miss Rish joined the Competition Team at NGMA, sparking her interest again. After working through an injury she was able to continue with her passion of competing. Through the support of the instructors, peers and the students she helped out with, Miss Rish received her Black Belt in May 2024. As a student, creating fond memories with her new family was something she was beyond thankful for. Then, when the opportunity came to help others, she knew it was her duty to give it back. Since becoming an instructor, Miss Rish enjoys continuing her karate journey by taking classes, teaching students, and watching her sister progress alongside her.
